Cause: Flycast requires the BIOS to be and unencrypted . Some dumps are in .zip or encrypted for other emulators. Use a raw binary dump.

EmuDeck includes a feature that scans a specific folder on your SD card and automatically sorts BIOS files into the correct hidden folders for you. This is the easiest way to handle it.
Select (or Flycast if you installed the standalone version). Click on BIOS Checker . Scroll down to the Sega - Dreamcast section.

The files must be dc_boot.bin and dc_flash.bin . If they are named bios.bin or have capital letters, they may not work.
If your file names are uppercase, right-click them, select "Rename," and change them to lowercase.
