If you have not configured your ESET PROTECT VA yet, you can use default password eraadmin to access management mode.

If the Unlock Tool is unavailable, you can manually clear the password by modifying the registry, but this must be done in to bypass ESET’s self-defense drivers: Boot the computer into Safe Mode. Open the Registry Editor ( regedit ).

The tool will output a temporary Release Code . Step 4: Enter the Release Code Return to the locked ESET window. Enter the temporary Release Code into the password field. Click OK .
To avoid these scenarios, administrators should store the master password in a secure password manager. Furthermore, using a is highly recommended, as it ensures that even if a local password is forgotten, the administrator maintains "top-down" control over the security environment without needing physical access to the machine.
