Microsoft Loopback Adapter Windows 11 [4K 2025]

Open > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings .

Get-NetIPAddress -InterfaceAlias "Loopback"

The Add Hardware Wizard will open. Click Next .

The Loopback Adapter is not installed by default. Because it is considered a legacy tool, you must manually add it through the Device Manager using the Add Hardware wizard.
